Let’s face it, fellow entrepreneurs — some days, the siren call of your social media feed is stronger than the call of your to-do list. You know you should be updating your website, but all the social’s “For You” pages just *gets* you, you know? If you’ve ever found yourself doom-scrolling when you should be empire-building, this one’s for you. Let’s dive into some strategies to pry that phone from your hand and get back to business!

1. Acknowledge the Doom Scroll Desire

First things first — let’s not pretend we’re above the almighty scroll. It’s okay to admit that sometimes, mindlessly absorbing internet drama feels way more appealing than tackling your email inbox. We’re human, after all. (Unless you’re one of those AI language models that’s gotten really good at pretending to be human. In which case… well played, robot. Well played.)

2. Set a Timer for Your Scrolling

If you can’t beat the urge, control it. Give yourself a set amount of time — let’s say 10 minutes — to scroll to your heart’s content. But when that timer goes off, it’s business time. And no, scrolling your business Instagram doesn’t count. Nice try, though!
